Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Dakota's passion for robotics and autonomous controls combined with his love of space and space exploration brought him to Purdue Orbital as a freshman. In his role as Chief Engineer, Dakota hopes to assist teammates in both professional and technical growth as they work together to push the envelope of space accessibilty. Outside of the team, Dakota plays saxophone in the Purdue University Bands and enjoys playing disc golf and basketball.

Born and raised in Greenwood, IN, John developed an interest in flight at an early age and decided to attend Purdue University to pursue this interest. Upon hearing of Purdue Orbital, he was quick to jump at the opportunity to get his hands dirty in the field. His interests quickly focused towards systems engineering where he is excited to be serving Purdue Orbital today. In his free time, he enjoys rock climbing and photography.

Brian was born in Sparta, NJ. At a young age, he developed a strong passion for space and flight. Brian was excited to discover Purdue Orbital as a freshman as it aligned with his interests in the space industry. He is enthusiastic to lead the Research and Development division and bring Purdue Orbital closer to attaining its goals of orbital flight. Brian also enjoys playing guitar and basketball.

Ethan joined Purdue Orbital by random his freshman year when he was assigned to it by Purdue EPICS. He now considers that event to be the equivalent of winning the lottery. By his own admission, he has enjoyed his time at Purdue Orbital so much that he was convinced to change his major to Aerospace Engineering. Instead of an interest in Aerospace leading to Purdue Orbital, Purdue Orbital lead to an interest in Aerospace.

Dane is from northern Wisconsin and has always had a passion for space technology. He hopes to make an impact on the space industry through the formation of Purdue Orbital, and is planning to continue his education in graduate school. In his free time he enjoys rock climbing, backpacking, and other outdoor activities.

I jumped at the opportunity to serve as the Director of Special Projects for Purdue Orbital because I believe that projects like these will bring space access to everyone with the drive to explore. As a student at Purdue, I am focusing on propulsion and space system design to gain the knowledge required to lead the design of launch vehicles for the next generation of explorers.

Born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, Bryce became interested in space flight at a young age when visiting the US Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama. He is dedicated to improving access to space in order to create a future for the next generation where space flight is as commonplace as air travel. His studies at Purdue University with a focus on Propulsion and Space Systems Design.

Junior - Aerospace Engineering

Rolfe is a junior in aerospace engineering from Marietta, GA. Interested in astrodynamics, spacecraft rotational dynamics and controls, and space applications, he is currently heading the design of the platform and launch system interface for Purdue Orbital. Outside of Orbital, Rolfe enjoys backpacking, reading, and watching football. Following his time here at Purdue, Rolfe plans on going to graduate school and eventually getting his Ph.D. in aerospace engineering.
